What's this site about?
You will find essays and conversations about ancient practices of faith formation and a community of faith facilitators reconsidering these practices for the emerging culture.
Who is behind this site?
My name is Craig Oldenburg. I finished my D.Min work in April of 2006. My dissertation includes the theories of experiential learning and spiritual formation. This has been very exciting work and it continues
I am married to an incredible lady and living in Seward, Nebraska. I intend to make this my home base as I work with leadership groups in facilitating their formation, as well as those they affect through educational processes.
My hobbies include biking, hiking, running (when my knees can handle it), rappelling, reading, writing, helping others succeed, and problem solving.
How can you send me feedback?

What does the Experiential Formations Logo stand for?
The oval "thumbprint" of experiential formations represents the lifelong process of forming through experience. The rest of the meaning is for you to create. If the logo was really good, it would probably have some kind of cross in the middle representing the given faith described in the Articles.
This is where I write>>
The office is actually a bit more organized for writing now and a bit messier with my thoughts and memories of my own life experiences and formations.
